Also shown in the mirror are student Maddie Tate, 10, and Douglas School Principal Teresa Blomenkamp, sporting a sequined Santa hat. Hailie is a second grade student, and Maddie is in fifth grade at the Belleville School. They are among the dozens of students who were at the store for the West Side Optimist Club's annual "Coats For Kids" program, put on with help from the clothing retailer. The West Side Optimist members sell entertainment gift books to raise funds for their Coats for Kids program and other charitable events. About 70 students from 15 Belleville-area elementary schools were beneficiaries of the program, receiving the new winter coats during the two-day shopping event. Principals or teachers accompanied the students to the store and helped with selections of the coats..BND/TIM VIZER STANDALONE
