Cordell Jackson, 6, is a Whiteside Elementary School kindergartener who has Dravet's Syndrome, which is a rare form of infant epilepsy that is also known as Severe Myoclonic Epilepsy of Infancy (SMEI).  Cordell looks up at teacher Lauren Etling (left, out of frame) as he works on finding a green piece to match a colored shape in this exercise which helps the students learn their colors.
